Banana boat ride at Boracay Island

For a middle-class family to attempt to go to Boracay Island Philippines is a risky proposition. If you would really like to, then save a lot of money, so you could spend a lot.
What fun things to do?
Lots!
Take the Banana boat ride (named as such because it uses a rubber boat shaped like a banana). It's just a 20-minute ride for P200 per person, but it's well worth the money! We had kids with us and they enjoyed the ride tremendously. They even wanted a repeat, but we ran out of money already. If the the group is all-adults, the rubber boat is flipped after some time so that the riders fall into the water. That's because riders are equipped with just life vests (there are no safety belts). Riders have to hold on to the handles very tightly. I don't think people can say: "Look, mommy, no hands!"

I would talk about other adventures in the next blogs.
